QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
- Advanced degree in Education, Instructional Design, Curriculum and Instruction, Humanities, or a related field
from a regionally accredited institution.
- Demonstrated experience in planning and facilitating faculty development
initiatives focused on online teaching and learning.
- Proven ability to mentor faculty in adopting innovative
instructional strategies and technology integration.
- Experience developing resources and training modules for online
and hybrid instruction.
- Familiarity with learning management systems, educational media technologies, and AI tools in
education.
- Knowledge of Quality Matters standards and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles.
- Commitment to accessibility and accessible practices.
- Strong project management and collaboration skills.

Provide
individualized consultations and lead workshops to help faculty design and enhance online and hybrid courses.

Guide
faculty in integrating multimedia, accessibility features, and interactive tools to improve student engagement.

Develop and deliver professional development programs focused on online pedagogy, instructional technology, and innovative teaching
strategies.
Course Development & Enhancement
- Contribute to a shared vision for impactful online learning
aligned with High Point University’s goals and brand.
- Apply best practices for course design and quality assurance,
ensuring consistency and excellence.
- Oversee the development and review of educational media assets, including
usability and accessibility testing.
Instructional Innovation
- Research and recommend emerging technologies,
including AI applications, to enhance teaching and learning.
- Promote best practices for instructional tools and ensure
compliance with accessibility, copyright, and data privacy standards.
Data-Driven Assessment & Continuous Improvement
- Collect and analyze data on course effectiveness, faculty engagement, and student success to inform improvements.
- Collaborate with Educational Technology Services to evaluate technology’s impact on retention and learning outcomes.
